Aerospace America 9160 600EV Compact HEPA Scrubber for Tight, Occupied Spaces

The Aeroclean 600EV is a 32 lb variable-speed scrubber that runs as quiet as 42 dB on low, built for small rooms where a full-size negative-air machine would be loud and oversized. It uses a centrifugal fan rather than a high-RPM blower, so it cleans air without the noise floor that makes large units impractical in occupied buildings. Facility teams reach for it when the job is a single room rather than a whole-floor loss.

9160 Variable Speed and Noise Control

The 0-550 CFM range and low-speed sound level let you match output to the room instead of running flat out.

  • 0-550 CFM variable speed — dial airflow to room size rather than living with one fixed rate.

  • 66 dB high / 42 dB low at 10 ft — run it in occupied offices and classrooms without drowning out conversation.

  • Three-stage 12x12 filtration — pre-filter and ring filter protect the 12x12x6 HEPA final stage.

  • 1/2 HP centrifugal fan — moves air at low sound rather than relying on RPM.

  • 1.67 amp draw at 110V — light enough to share a circuit with other equipment.

  • 0-3" minihelic gauge — full speed with new filters reads 1.9 inches; change at 2.4 inches.

  • Optional carbon ring filter — swap the second stage for odor control when the job calls for it.

9160 Applications and Environments

The 9160 fits single-room mold and water-damage work, hotel and office remediation around guests and staff, schools, and healthcare spaces where sound and footprint both matter. The aircraft-aluminum body weighs 32 lbs and exhausts through an 8-inch side duct, so one tech can carry it up stairs and set up in a closet-sized area. The carbon ring filter option turns it into an odor-control unit for sewage or smoke jobs without buying a separate machine. With new filters the gauge reads 1.9 inches at full speed, and the spec calls for a change at 2.4 inches.
