Ghost Wipes are designed for forensic-level surface sampling to detect toxic dust and metals, including lead, beryllium, cadmium, and others. Always wear disposable gloves (nitrile or latex) to prevent contamination and protect yourself from exposure. Avoid touching the contaminated side of the wipe and change gloves between sampling areas

Sampling Procedure
Prepare the Wipe: Remove the wipe from its packaging and fold it to create a square, holding it by the inner pockets with gloved fingers
Define the Area: Place the template on the surface to delineate the exact area to be sampled
Wiping Technique: Use an S-like or overlapping diagonal pattern to cover the area thoroughly. Wipe from top to bottom and then in the opposite diagonal direction to ensure complete collection
Collected wipes must be sent to a certified laboratory for analysis, as on-site interpretation is not possible Ghost Wipes dissolve completely during laboratory digestion, ensuring maximum recovery of metals and accurate results
