DIRECTIONS:
Before beginning work, protect all walls, flooring, carpeting, cracks or wood with an absorbent from liquid materials. This will ensure easier clean-up and eliminate potential problems
STEP 1: Wet the entire adhesive surface with before reflooring. product. This may be done by pouring the 922 directly to the floor and using a mop or floor squeegee to move it over the surface of the adhesive. DO NOT overapply. Allow 922 to soak and penetrate for 30 - 60 minutes
STEP 2: Scrape the bulk of the softened adhesive from the surface with a floor scraper. This will help increase the coverage of 922 and reduce the amount of liquid generated and make final clean up easier. Place in a container for disposal
STEP 3: Reapply 922 as in Step One. To fully lift and liquify adhesive residue from the floor agitate with a short-bristled broom, handheld or rotating floor scrubber with stripper pads. Squeegee resulting mixture into puddles and solidify with an absorbent. Remove absorbed material to a container and dispose. Follow all local, state and federal regulations when disposing of waste.
STEP 4: Wash and rinse the floor thoroughly with a degreaser and water to ensure a clean surface. Allow to dry a minimum of 24 hours before installing new flooring.
Expect coverage rates of 50-200 sq. feet per gallon.
REMOVING GLUED DOWN WOOD FLOORING
Step 1: Using a circular saw set to the depth of the flooring, cut the flooring into 6” - 8” squares.
Step 2: Vacuum all sawdust from the cut lines and floor.
Step 3: Apply liberal amounts of 922 to the cut lines. Use a squeegee to distribute across the flooring. Allow 922 to soak and penetrate under the wood for 4 - 8 hours.
